To My Younger Self…

The number one thing I would

Recommend to my younger self is to

“Never judge another artist.”

After moving through

Fits of fear;

Fear of being not enough,

Cast away as mediocre,

Or compartmentalized in the caged pen of

‘Untalented swine’…

I came to realize all my angst

Was coming as a karmic backlash

Of disempowered attempts to

Transcend insecurity

By tearing down members of my

Incarnated art council.

Every creative you have had the

Privilege of witnessing as a predecessor~

Whether they put on a play of

Perceived “mastery”

Or an absolutely clown show…

Each episode of exposure was

Given as a gift

To help you actualize

Creative liberation.

So embody reverence,

Show respect for anyone who has the balls to

Express themselves authentically.

For then,

When it is your time to wiggle &

Squeal on stages you will

Not be so shy to

Set your younger self free.

Pt. 2

The second nugget of wisdom

I send on empowering electrons

To evaporate insecurity for my

Creative kin-spirit is 22

“Dissolve the desire

4444 Significance.”

There is nothing more

Draining than pouring out from a

Place of pining for praise.

Proffer from people is not a

Proper payment for the

Self-sacrifice it takes to

Die and be reborn as

Your projects.

Pt. 3

The last glimpse of guidance I would

Grace my infant inventor with is

“Do not commit the bible’s proclaimed

‘Worst sin’: Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.”

{Blasphemy:

Contemptuous or profane speech or action

Concerning God or a sacred entity.}

In stead,

Practice the antidote → Christed celebration.

Honor yourself and all you share

As Holy.
